Desert Glamping
While we were in Qatar, we spent a gorgeous morning in the desert to explore Khor Al Adaid (Inland Sea) and of course, we also had to risk our lives in some break-neck, roller-coaster dune bashing. When it was finally time to re-enter civilization, we rolled into the glamorous Recency Sealine Camp for a delicious lunch of meat skewers, salads, baked bread, pastries and fresh fruits.
Recency Sealine makes for a perfect base camp to explore the desert. It is located on the coast, about an hour south of Doha and north of the Inland Sea. Guests can stay in one of the 15 luxurious air-conditioned tents, with bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, starting at around $200 per night. The camp offers a number of activities, including dune bashing, quad biking across the terrain and camel riding through the desert.
